Tiwana Floyd is a Los Angeles-based actor, writer, improviser, and media maker. Growing up an only child in The Bronx and Yonkers, New York, her imagination, filled with made-up stories, was the company that kept her entertained. Now, as an adult, her made-up stories materialize in sketch comedy, podcasts, and digital shorts.
A graduate of Second City Hollywood's Conservatory and Directing Programs and a 2019 NBC/Second City Hollywood Bob Curry Fellowship recipient. In 2020, she spearheaded and co-founded Diversity Higher Comedy (DHC), a 7 person BIPOC sketch team.
Diversity Higher Comedy wrote, filmed, directed, edited, and performed 35 short films for their 2021 "March Content Madness." In June 2021, they launched the inaugural Diversity Higher Comedy Short Film Festival.
